Fourteen ships laden with petroleum products, foods and other goods have arrived Lagos ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority(NPA) said on Thursday in Lagos.
The NPA stated this in its daily publication, the 'Shipping Position' which was made available to newsmen.
It explained that six of the ships waiting to berth were laden with fuel, while the remaining eight ships arrived with foods items and general cargo.
The statement noted that 29 ships were being expected in the ports from Feb. 18 to March 8.
According to the publication, 10 of the ships will sail in with containers, while nine other ships will arrive with food items like rice in bags. frozen fish, buckwheat and bulk malt.
The document indicated that seven ships would arrive with general cargo, while the remaining three ships would sail in with base oil, petrol and diesel.
